As you can see, it is a majestic church whose central nave features paintings of great artistic quality by the artists Ivo Mora and E. Tene. These artists painted images of the Lord of Divine Justice, Saint Joseph, the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Christ the King, the Holy Sepulchre, and others, most of them over a century old. Today, it serves as a refuge for prayer and meditation, a place of spiritual hope, a temple for reflection, and an architectural treasure of our city. Holy Sepulchre. This venerated relic of 17th-century wood carving was crafted by Don Narciso Castillo. Besides being the resting place of the image of Our Lord Jesus Christ, it is the oldest known example of wood carving. It has remained intact since its creation and is used in the Good Friday procession of the Holy Sepulchre.
